Job Purpose: I am a friendly young woman with Autism and ADHD who is seeking a PA to support me to live independently and gain confidence within the home to engage in everyday living tasks.Due to my Autism I suffer from anxiety and struggle to leave my house. This has meant that I have stopped engaging in hobbies and interest that I used to enjoy. As such I would like someone who can support me to leave my house and participate in activities such as music, visual arts and sewing, as well as attending appointments and social groups (some of which take place in the evening).I also require support within the home to carry out everyday household tasks such as vegetarian cooking and laundry, as well as booking appointments and accessing services. I hope that this will help me to build my confidence and gain the necessary life skills to live an independent adult life. Due to the nature of this role, someone with an awareness of neurodiversity would be ideal. I would like someone who will take a collaborative approach to this role, respecting me as an adult whilst also supporting my needs and providing me with structure.
