Year 1 Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preferably in EYFS or Key Stage 1.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of Key Stage 1.
  • Classroom Management: Effective strategies for a positive learning environment.
  • Planning and Assessment: Skilful in lesson planning and student assessment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding policies.

Phase Lead Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Experience: Significant teaching experience in EYFS or KS1.
  • Strategic Vision: Contribute to strategic planning and curriculum development.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and use student performance data.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Innovation: Implement new teaching methods and practices.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to continuous learning.
