This organisation is responsible for bringing water to life through thousands of miles of pipework across some of the most beautiful landscapes. Customers rely on them to provide water and wastewater services to their homes. They aremitted to making a difference and working on preventing pollution and improving their environmental performance by investing in new technologies.
You will join as a proactive member of the Water Quality Team providing sampling support so they can rmend, consider and appraise improvements to thepany’s assets and operations.
Your new role
Undertake sampling duties to ensure that all regulatory, operational monitoring and customer service requirements are met
Assist Water Quality Scientists in the effective and timely resolution of customer contacts
Utilise resources ensuring equipment and records are maintained to the required standards
Undertake service reservoir security checks and booster chlorination activities as required.
Undertake administrative tasks associated with sampling programmes/duties
What you'll need to succeed
5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths, English and a Science subject at grade C or above
Desirable to have an A-Level or equivalent in a relevant science subject
Previous experience of working in a scientific or operational environment
Understanding of the requirements of Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 & ISO 17025
Ability to follow procedures to the standards demanded by the Regulators & business
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Full UK Driving Licence
