Warehouse Operative (4 on 4 off - days)

JOB DESCRIPTION Join our dynamic team at Kuehne+Nagel as a Warehouse Operative and become an essential part of our global logistics network.

Your Role

You will play a vital role in the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations and will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to receiving, storing, picking and dispatching goods.

Your Responsibilities

Loading & unloading of vehicles both manually & using the onsite forklift.

Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accruate inventory records.

Maintain cleanliness and prganisation in the warehouse, adhering to health and safety standards

Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve team goals and targets

Shared responsibility of departmental mailbox, to include the receipt of new packaging bookings and internal queries.

Dealing with telephone & email enquiries from internal & external departments accurately and efficiently.

Loading & unloading of vehicles both manually & using the onsite forklift.

Process all Import & Export consignments as they transit through the Heathrow facility.

Your Skills and Experiences

Experience of working to strict deadlines.

Experience of handling temperature controlled & timecritical consignments.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Computer skills in Word/ Excel / PowerPoint essential 

Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

This role will be 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts from 6am to 6pm
