JOB TITLE: Videographer

REPORTING LINE: Senior Videographer

DEPARTMENT: Broadcast and Production

LOCATIONS: Ibrox Stadium and Rangers Training Centre

CONTRACT: Permanent, Full Time



THE ROLE

This role supports our existing production team in the planning, filming, editing, and archiving of video content for the Club’s various video platforms. The role is based at Ibrox and Auchenhowie as well as on location where required.



The Videographer will be responsible for aiding the production team in the acquisition, organisation, and editing of a variety of footage for output on the club’s various video channels. The role requires working alongside the other members of the Broadcast Production team, Content Team and Communications staff, other internal departments and external stakeholders.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Filming matches and creating highlights for all of the Club's teams, for use on various official platforms.
Filming and editing non-matchday content for use across the club's different platforms including RangersTV, Club website and social media channels.
Contributing to concepting, pre-production, video shooting, and post-production editing of videos as part of club's content strategy.
Preparing interview footage and sourcing suitable b-roll footage where required.
Coordinating and managing the storage and tagging of news footage, archive footage, b-roll and match content.
Researching information and statistics and checking facts for a wide variety of programme types.
Preparing content for and posting to the club's various video platforms including RangersTV and Social Media.
Assisting with various elements of the Club's live match day broadcasts.
Filming of interview and press conferences on match days as part of a rota system for Men's First Team, Academy Teams and Women's team.
Attending club events and external events for filming and editing when required.




THE CANDIDATE

The candidate attributes include:



Qualifications & Experience:

Educated to Degree Level or equivalent proven experience working in a similar role for a minimum of two years.
Experience filming live football is highly desirable
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Excellent working knowledge of studio based & location filming using various camera/ lighting equipment.
Experience in file management or databases.
To have an in-depth knowledge of Rangers Football Club and football in general
Experience in the sporting industry is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of graphic production through Adobe After Effects

This position requires strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven, fast paced work environment.
