We're looking for someone with proven track record of owning and delivering complex Infrastructure delivery projects under demanding timelines. Our investment in data centers and other physical infrastructure in various regions presents many unique challenges. You are expected to understand how our infrastructure projects intersect with business, Software delivery teams and build awareness and capabilities in those areas. You are expected to build strong relationships across service line and with our internal partners in other service lines and central CTO teams.

In this role you will:
• Leading Distributed Compute team and manage all operations related to IT infrastructure and service delivery within the scope of service line.
• Technical SME for Linux System with solid infrastructure support experience in configure, optimize, and maintain infrastructure components in a Linux based Environment
• As a decision-maker, you will decide what technologies will be adopted to meet future business needs, prioritize project, assemble project team, assign resource allocation, select vendor, recommend future state solutions
• Working with the IT Service Management leadership, IT service owners, Head of Infrastructure, process owners and various service delivery groups to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the Technology organization.
• Strong technical knowledge, provide technical leadership, create, and manage infrastructure plan and standards according to IT strategic plan and roadmap.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Team management and Linux system administration experience with a large infrastructure and organisation
• Experience in leading experienced engineers to deliver of complex deployment projects and supporting infrastructure under diversified or matrix structure.
• Experience in Large-scale enterprise infrastructure system deployment and integration.
• Experience across a wide range of automation, operational and networking aspects
• Experience in Red Hat Linux 6/7/8 administration and VMware virtualization products.
This role is based in Sheffield. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office
