Our insurancesolutions are embedded within the products orservices offered tothe end- customer. Wakam operate in 32 countries across Europe withmost of the revenues generated outside of France. Main Tasks & Responsibilities Wakaminnovative "capital-light" model, contribute to making capitalManagement a key part of our strategy. Working within the CapitalManagement, you will interact with all offices (such as Risk,Reinsurance, Actuarial and Finance) and will have the followingmain missions: Design and delivery of capital actuarial models,processes and systems Making recommendations regarding solvency andcapital assessment Oversight of the actuarial assessments requiredto calculate the company’s capital; to assist in ensuring that thecompany's regulatory capital requirements are met and thatsufficient capital resources are available to support theBoard-approved business strategy. Such assessment shall includesufficient "stress testing" to assist the Board in evaluating therisk level with respect to the business strategy Assessing thesufficiency and quality of the data used in the calculation ofcapital models Ensuring appropriateness assessments of the standardformula are completed and the relevant outcomes reported to therisk committee Involvement in the definition and orchestration ofcapital operations (capital raise, subordinated debt issuance,etc.) Analysis and implementation of capital optimisationstrategies (such as the use of USPs/partial internal model, updateof calculation methodologies, rationalization of the portfolio mix,etc.) Involvement in strategic projects impacting the company’scapital (Lloyd’s syndicate, financial rating, etc.) and in helpingdetermine and assessing the strategic options the company may takein the future Update of the strategic asset allocation Review ofsolvency calculations (Standard Formula) and ORSA projectionsContributing to the effective implementation of the risk managementsystem, in particular with respect to the risk managementunderlying the calculation of the solvency capital requirements andminimum capital requirements and the Company's ORSA Ownership ofkey risks in accordance with the Risk Management Framework andPolicy regarding capital These missions may evolve according to thecompany’s needs and projects, in line with your profile. Thisposition will be based in our London office, remote workingpossible from the UK. Regular trips to our Headquarters in Parismay be required.
