What this role isresponsible for:

The Tutor Manageris responsible for the overall communication and management of UK& EU Tutors ensuring tutors and students have a supportedand professional experience at Crimson. You will work closely withthe tutor team being the main point of contact answering queriesmonitoring and communicating KPI data providing observationfeedback and supporting other related teams via allocation queriesand recommendations etc.

The key focus of theTutor Manager is to communicate effectively to maintain a strongtutor team that is reliable and performing to a high standard.

The Tutor Manager will be a highly organisedindividual who is happy to work independently on a range of tasksand is able to complete tasks in a timely manner whilst alwayscommunicating effectively.

Ongoingtasks

Mainresponsibilities: Tutor management &allocation; data analysis; and general administrative teamsupport.


  • Providesupport with tutor recommendations for all UK & EUservices.

  • Provide tutorsupport (answering questions offering advice on specific studentsetc).

  • Coordinate Tutormanagement/discipline (chasing up tutors to accept allocationsdealing with complaints appropriately dealing with midseasonresignation).

  • Completingsession observations on a regular basis and providing feedback

  • Monitor team KPI data andcollate monthly overview report

  • Ownership of certain Slackchannels and replying to questions and requests

  • Ownership of tracking Tutortraining via the Crimson App reports

  • Organise biannual payreviews for all tutors

  • Communicate Tutor relatedupdates and provide training materials when necessary

  • Any other related tasksrequired by the UK & EU Admissions Team


Whatsuccess looks like:

  • Managing theUK Admin Inbox and ensuring all communication is replied to in atimely manner

  • Proactivelymonitoring tutor KPI data communicating this to tutors regularlysupporting tutors to meet their KPIs and creating and presentingresults to the team during team meetings

  • Observe tutor sessions on aregular basis particularly supporting newly onboarded tutors byproviding feedback using Crimson resources and rubrics

  • Ensure tutors are providinga professional service to students which includes making sureallocations are replied to and accepted in align with tutor KPIs

  • Dedicating time tocommunicate with other related teams via email and on Slack whichcan include tutor recommendations and handling tutor complaints

  • Support newly onboardedtutors with their training via the Crimson App making sure that itis completed aligning with expected timelines and that they areready to begin accepting allocations and delivering sessions

  • Attending regular teammeetings and updating colleagues and management on the progress ofany ongoing tasks and day to day management of tutors

  • Ensuring any complaints arehandled quickly and professionally and reallocation requests areprioritised

  • Excellentcommunication & interpersonal skills: can make people feelat ease extensive experience in people management advanced Englishproficiency both verbal andwritten

  • Data management;highly skilled using the Google Suite spreadsheet creationpresenting data analysis and the ability to communicate dataeffectively e.g. sending tutor KPI data via mail merges

  • Teamwork &collaboration: highly organised and exhibit effective timemanagement resultoriented effective problem solving skills with acando attitude exhibit a positive attitude and a growth mindset intheworkplace
