TPF Recruitment the leadingprovider of accountancy practice professionals is currentlysupporting one of their clients located in Eastbourne with therecruitment of a Trust & Estates Manager/Senior Manager.

Joinour clients esteemed TESS team in Eastbourne. TPF Recruitment isworking on behalf of our client seeking a diligent Trust &Estate Manager to contribute to our dynamic Trust & EstateSupport Services. This role offers an exciting opportunity toengage in trust administration tax compliance and various privateclient endeavours. The level of responsibility will be tailored toyour experience with training provided whereneeded.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Trusts:

  • Preparetrust accounts tax returns and IHT forms for trusts under ourtrusteeship and for trustclients.
  • Handletrust administration including TRS and CRS for trusts we overseeand those where we serve as primarycontact.
  • Reviewand provide feedback on trust tax returns and accounts prepared byothers.

Estates:

  • Assistwith estate administration reporting to the TESS Partner whennecessary.
  • Prepareaccounts tax returns IHT forms and legal statements forestates.
  • Liaisewith executors beneficiaries and third parties during estateadministration.

PrivateClientTax:

  • Preparepersonal SelfAssessment TaxReturns.
  • Reviewand provide feedback on personal tax returns prepared byothers.
  • Supportthe TESS Partner with technical tax research and drafting taxadvice.

Workfor OtherProfessionals:

  • Prepareaccounts and tax returns for solicitors and otherprofessionals.
  • Offerguidance on TRS obligations and assist with tax formpreparation.

Other:

  • Addressinternal technical queries for Partners and Managers regardingestates andtrusts.
  • Assistin training junior teammembers.
  • Maintainand update workflow for yourportfolio.
  • Conductmonthly WIP reviews to ensure timelybilling.
  • Keepuptodate with CPD and technicalknowledge.


Requirements

  • Qualificationssuch as ACCA CTA or STEP are required.
  • Experience:Previous experience in trust administration estate planning orrelated fields preferably within a professional servicesfirm.
  • TechnicalSkills: Proficiency in trust and estate accounting principles taxcompliance and relevant regulations.Familiarity with trust andestate administrationsoftware.
  • Strongunderstanding of inheritance tax laws andregulations.
  • CommunicationSkills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills toeffectively liaise with clients beneficiaries legal professionalsand internalstakeholders.
  • AnalyticalSkills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to reviewcomplex financial documents tax returns and legaldocuments.
  • Attentionto Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy inpreparing trust accounts tax returns and legalstatements.
  • TeamPlayer: Ability to collaborate effectively within a teamenvironment including mentoring junior staff members andcoordinating with otherdepartments.

EducationalBackground: ACCA, CTA, or STEP are advantageous. Experience:Previous experience in trust administration, estate planning, orrelated fields, preferably within a professional services firm.Technical Skills: Proficiency in trust and estate accountingprinciples, tax compliance, and relevant regulations. Familiaritywith trust and estate administration software. Strong understandingof inheritance tax laws and regulations. Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectivelyliaise with clients, beneficiaries, legal professionals, andinternal stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities to review complex financial documents,tax returns, and legal documents. Attention to Detail: Meticulousattention to detail to ensure accuracy in preparing trust accounts,tax returns, and legal statements. Team Player: Ability tocollaborate effectively within a team environment, includingmentoring junior staff members and coordinating with otherdepartments.
