The Opportunity

The firm requires a Treasury Analyst to carry out the day-to-day cash management and administrative tasks in the Group Treasury Function. This role will report to the Treasurer Manager and will work closely with the Group Treasurer and Arup’s global finance teams.

The Treasury Analyst Will Act as the initial point of contact for bond and guarantee applications. Obtain necessary approvals, process applications, amendments, and cancellations, reconcile bond charges from banks, and maintain comprehensive bond reporting.

In this role you will also have the opportunity to analyse liquidity and FX risk positions and develop best practices to support regional treasury matters, prepare cashflow forecasts, manage global multi-currency cash pool reporting, and provide FX and money market recommendations. Handle intercompany cash transfers and weekly cash reporting, while liaising with local operations on cash requirements.

Input transactions into the Treasury Management System (TMS) and use various banking portals daily. Perform administrative tasks such as bank account management, liaising with shared services and finance teams, and managing the Treasury Intranet page.

  • Have a strong interest in Treasury matters.
  • Have an eye for detail, with the ability to still see the bigger picture.
  • Have previous experience of FIS Integrity, 360T, Co-Process and HSBCnet a benefit.
  • Are working towards AMCT qualification or interested in working towards qualification.
