Streamline Services are looking for an experienced Transport Planner for our client, an ever-growing international Freight Forwarder based at their head office in Stanford-Le-Hope.
This is a full-time permanent role, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. You will be responsible for:
Supervising pallet network collections and deliveries
Coordinating and strategizing the distribution of multiple assignments through third-party hauliers
Conducting inspections to ensure the accuracy and currency of recording systems regarding vehicle whereabouts
Ensuring the upkeep of fleet schedules and timely availability of de-fleeted vehicles to the de-fleet team as needed
Cultivating positive relationships with customers, repairers, etc.
Collaborating with the driving team to uphold high standards of customer service
Adhering to company compliance policies and procedures
Fulfilling administrative responsibilities
Requirements:
Must have previous Transport Planning experience
Good knowledge and understanding of the highway code
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Computer literate
Highly organised
