You will work for a very well established international, high growth, and thriving Media Publishing business, headquartered in the heart of central London. It's a really exciting time to join thispany as they have recently made a large acquisition (and are looking at more acquisitional growth!)

Your new role

In this permanent Transactional Finance Analyst job, you will work within a large, stable and friendly finance team, undertaking a range of tasks focusing on Reporting and Reconciliation. This will include (but not be limited to):

Preparation of cashflow forecast for UK and Australia (monthly)

Preparation of budget & forecast cashflows (UK and Australia)

Weekly forecast of Group cash position

Monthly AR and AP reconciliations

Reconciliation of petty cash (monthly)

Debtor account reconciliation

Reconciliation of VAT returns (quarterly)

Assisting with and providing cover for AR/AP team as required

Ongoing streamlining, improvement and implementation of processes/procedures

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need a strong background in Transactional Accounting – end to end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You’ll evidence strong skills in Reconciliation and Reporting (intermediate Excel inclusive of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is a must), with excellent analytical capabilities and a flair for problem-solving. To be a great fit for this business you will be hardworking, friendly and ambitious, with greatmunication skills; a motivated and proactive person who is deadline conscious. Knowledge of VAT is highly desirable, as is prior experience working within the Publishing industry. You’ll either already be actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA), or keen to start.
