Trainee Trainer - Work at Height & Rescue

We are seeking to appoint a Trainee Trainer to join our growing Training Department.

This is new job role which will follow a 3-year training programme. The programme is designed to take an individual with a passion for working at height and develop them into a full time Work at Height and Rescue Trainer.

Over the course of the 3 years, the successful candidate will be provided with internal and external training to support their development. This will include a minimum of a Level 3 award in Education and Training, IRATA Level 1, Lyon PPE Competent Person course and IPAF 3a 3b.

Following successful completion of the programme, the candidate will be invited to take on the role of a full time Work at Height and Rescue Trainer.

Over the course of the three-year training programme; the successful candidate will learn how to:

Facilitate course bookings

Update course resources

Deliver a range of classroom and practical training courses

Develop and deliver a range of off-site training courses including PPE inspection training

Develop new and existing training courses

Conduct competency-based skills assessments

Represent Lyon at appropriate tradeshows and meetings with key stakeholders
