As a Trainee Forklift Operative, you’ll become an integral part of the production process, you’ll benefit from: Monday – Friday hours (no weekend working), guaranteed hours, overtime opportunities and working within a supportive & friendly environment.
Shift : Monday to Friday, 16:00 – 00:00 - 40 Hours, 30 minutes paid break.
As a Trainee Forklift Operative your duties will involve:
- Working as part of the team of operators, picking and collating steel to order and preparing them for loading
- Identifying and locating different steel products, using appropriate measuring equipment, and replenishing stock in the racks
- Unloading lorries, batching, and allocating steel to appropriate locations as necessary
- Collating and planning customer orders as per the pre-determined load list and loading the lorry accordingly
- Attending all training courses when required
