The Role:
is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic officer for it’s Proactive Interventions Team .
On this team you will interact with members of the public, other agencies and all types of industry ranging from manufacturers and importers, to retailers, service providers and other types of business.
We aim to promote legitimate business, which means assisting good ones (with legal advice) and tackling those who cause harm or detriment (with various powers at our disposal).
We need officers with enquiring and methodical minds, who can use problem solving skills to identify practical solutions based on sound judgement and reasoning.
Most importantly you will have a genuine desire to support and help our communities across the county. Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in law enforcement activity will certainly be advantageous, but enthusiasm and dynamism is equally valued.
The role offers a 37 hour flexible working week with the opportunity of hybrid working from home or our office based in Winchester. And crucially, we strongly believe in the training and development of our staff, positively encouraging opportunities wherever possible.
