The Itchen Bridge has been operating as a Toll Crossing since it opened in 1977 and Toll Coordinators play a key role in managing the crossing to ensure payment is made by drivers using various payment means, while keeping traffic moving to avoid congestion.
The Council is seeking a reliable, assertive and independent person to join the team of Toll Coordinators who work at the Toll Plaza, on a temporary contract over the Summer period in 2024.
The successful candidate will be an excellent team worker who can use their initiative to resolve challenging situations.
