The role
Technical integration analyst will work with the Snaplogic Product owner and Tech Dev Lead to design, build and test new integrations on the Group Technology enterprise integration platforms (Snaplogic & Oracle PaaS).
The role will entail but not be limited to:
Liaise with business stakeholders, third party vendors and technical teams to gather requirements.
Translate the requirements into technical integration designs
Development and build of either new integrations or update the existing integrations as required
Perform unit testing of the integrations in readiness for business testing phases
Run iterative testing cycles, continuously seeking to improve run times and conducting performance tuning where necessary
Follow best practices for integrations with standard enterprise systems liaising with ITV Technical Design Authority
Be part of a wider technology project team working to deliver business transformation within agreed project timelines
Support the wider integrations team with BAU management of the Snaplogic platform and monitoring to ensure availability and successful completion of scheduled integrations if required.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
Strong understanding of financial and HR concepts and how they are encapsulated in the data flowing between systems, with the ideal candidate having experience in managing and developing Finance and HR integrations
iPaaS development experience with any leading iPaaS platforms such as (Preferred) Snaplogic, Dell Boomi, Workato or Informatica
A good understanding of and experience with integration standards and transports including SFTP, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and JSON
A good understanding of database concepts and fluency in SQL
Experience Supporting, improving, and fixing integration solutions using a wide variety of data sources and targets.
Experience of working with technical resources from 3rd party providers and outsourced offshore teams.
Understanding of errors and failures (both small and major) that can happen and how to progress them
Qualifications (Desirable)
Oracle Cloud ERP certification
ITIL
