Your Purpose

 

We’re now looking to recruit a Technician Engineer (Reliability Centred Maintenance) to join our brilliant Team at our Burton Brewery.

 

You will be responsible for implementing and supporting RCM (reliability centred maintenance) for the Brewing and Packaging department operations.  You will lead the projects for each identified asset/area and promote continuous improvement in areas of responsibility, building teams technical capability and ability with World Class Supply Chain tools and techniques.

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Interpret production plan schedule requirements to balance production and RCM needs.

 

  • Lead and drive the LST’s (Line Structure Teams) in the successful completion of Reliability Centred maintenance analysis, based on specific Equipment criticality ranking to identify and recommend improvements- such as, planned maintenance task improvements, Centreline (CL) and Clean, inspect, lubricate (CIL), spare parts holding, condition monitoring etc.

 

  • Support LST’s in problem solving and root cause analysis to maximize asset care planning and minimize breakdown maintenance.

 

  • Ability to work autonomously as part of team to manage planned RCM/EEM work adherence.

 

  • Supporting the operations department to execute engineering-based improvements.

 

  • Able to diligently adhere to practices within the work area to increase production reliability and decrease unexpected breakdowns.

 

 

 

 

About you

  • Time served engineer completing a recognised engineering apprenticeship.

 

  • Ability to demonstrate proficient electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding techniques.

 

  • Must be able to work under own initiative as an individual and as a team.

 

  • experience as a craftsperson in a challenging manufacturing environment with a demonstrated track record of achieving results.

 

  • The ability to prioritise effectively and make balanced, reasoned, data-based decisions in high pressure situations.

 

  • Possess a “can do” attitude paired with an enthusiastic approach to problem solving with strong planning and organising skills.

 

  • Experience working in an FMCG environment.
