London's office. The role as an Underwriting Operations Technician is permanent and will be focusing on supporting the Operations Manager.Your new roleYour new job working as an Underwriting Technical Assistant means you will be responsible for the processing of debit/credit notes and chasing, receiving and processing bordereaux premiums, as well as submitting all documents to the Bureau. You will also be responsible for maintaining statistical information such as profitmissions and dealing with unallocated cash. Other duties will include assisting the technical team with processing, technical queries and other ad hoc duties as and when required. You will also be responsible for Technical Accounting duties, reading and analysing Slips for Marine & energy risks, updating the inhouse system and ideally have had some exposure or at least an understanding of Blueprint 2 projects within the Marine and Energy space,What you’ll need to succeedYour previous experience working as a Technician or Underwriting Technical Assistant handling Marine and Energy risks in a similar job will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have good knowledge and a good understanding of London market procedures. You will have great attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal. You will have excellent knowledge of Excel and Outlook. You will have excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal. You will be able to manage and control your own personal effectiveness, including time management and priority setting during this role.What you’ll get in returnYou’ll be offered apetitive salary of £45,000 (dep on exp)
