The Opportunity

Our next Team Manager will be someone who has: 

Mandatory: have already obtained the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

A big heart and passion to make a difference to the occupants’ lives.

Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Some of your duties would include:

Provide a safe, caring and healthy environment where children can thrive and develop independence

Ensure that the children are involved in as many aspects of their care as possible

Encourage the children to ‘have a voice’ and to make their views and ideas known so that they can be taken on board

Provide a wide range of exciting and challenging opportunities that meet the individual needs of the children

Help improve the standard of living and confidence of every child and young adult.

The Location

Options Autism, part of Outcomes First Group, are recruiting Residential Team Manager to join our teams within the Rutland area. 

The Shires is a nine-bed registered accommodation. We support individuals from the ages of 11 – 19 years build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests. 

We are based in Stretton and are within commuting distance from Peterborough, Grantham and Melton Mowbray.

Our residential homes are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences – for those we look after and for everyone in our team!

Options Autism is a national provider of specialist education, care and therapeutic services for individuals with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We provide a person-centred approach to education and support, looking at the full needs of the individual and adapting our approach accordingly.
