Requirements:
As the Team Manager you will be reporting to the Head of Service, Team Mangers within the First Contact Service team are responsible for the day to day running of the service, including MASH.
You will provide direction and management oversight in relation to these cases and specific tasks requested. This includes contacting parents/carers or professionals, authorising all Initial Contacts & MASH Enquiries and provide a robust “managerial oversight” for actions taken and will liaise with the Locality Team managers or managers in other teams regarding strategy meetings.
The First Contact Service aims to ensure a consistent and efficient response to referrals received by Children’s Service’s. The service co-ordinates incoming referrals and seeks to ensure that they follow the appropriate pathway for the child’s needs according to Pan London’s threshold matrix.
