Team Manager Fostering

We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Manager. 

You will be responsible for the delivery of the council’s recruitment strategy of foster carers. Oversee the delivery of a robust annual foster carer recruitment strategy for foster carers.

To lead on the development of Connected Persons assessments and where necessary act as a consultant to other teams.

We are keen to hear from you if you have strong leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

You will have a passion for working with applicant Foster Carers, Connected Persons and Special Guardians. You will have experience in ensuring quality assessments and knowledge base of relevant statutory legislation and guidance.

You will be creative and understand the commercial market in which fostering sits. You will be evidenced based in your practice and use data to support developments and quality assurance.

    You must be a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration and have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently.
