Position Status: Full Time, Permanent

Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

Contractual Weeks:  39 weeks term time

Post Start Date: ASAP

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN to join the Heron Academy staff team. For further information, please refer to the job description attatched.

  • Excellent, experienced Teaching Assistants 
  • Able to support the learning of students with a range of severe, complex and profound learning difficulties, with and without autism
  • Enthusiastic and motivated towards SEN and are creative in their approach
  • Effective at working within a team of dedicated and highly-skilled staff and can work flexibly with a range of professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for our students
  • Strong, innovative and committed team players, who enjoy a challenge, can think positively and have a good sense of humour
