We are now accepting applications for a Teaching assistant role, this role is for candidates who are excited for the opportunity to work within a Primary school based in Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury. You will be assisting the Primary teachers to ensure that all Year 2 students have the ability to learn and flourish. You will be working across whole classes, in small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis.
Closing date: 8th August 2024.
The Teaching Assistant role:
* Supporting the Year 2 teachers in delivering lessons and educational activities
* Assisting the Tewkesbury students with their learning and development
* Confident in delivering 1:1 support to students as needed
* Helping to create and maintain a positive learning environment
* Supervising students during class and break times
September 2024 start
Contract
Flexible full time hours – Monday – Friday (08:30am – 3:30pm)
Required Qualifications:
* A valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
* Proven 2 years history track-record working as Teaching Assistant.
* Level 3 within Childcare qualification (Desired)
* Higher Level Teaching Qualification (Desired)
