Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social development needs.
* Help prepare classroom materials and manage classroom activities.
* Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting.
* Experience in a pupil referral unit or with students who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NVQ) are desired but not essential.
