We are seeking to appoint an inclusive, enthusiastic and creative teaching assistant or early years practitioner. We are seeking a positive team member to join our rapidly improving small school, at the heart of the local community, as soon as possible.

The Successful Candidate will:

  • The main purposes of the post are:

  • To successfully carry out the role of a teaching assistant or early years practitioner
  • To be responsible for the progress of allocated children under the key worker system framework, as well as all children in setting
  • To be responsible for providing bespoke support for individuals who have been identified as SEND.
  • Working under the direction of the class teacher and with the SENDCo, provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
  • To develop and promote effective working relationships with families, members of staff and external agencies as required.
  • Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.

    The successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure Application Form and to provide criminal conviction information.
