Their values are based on having love and respect for one another, and they provide a wealth of opportunities and seek to inspire students to be confident and enthusiastic learners.About the role:The school is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has worked with KS2 pupils to support two year 5 pupils with autism.
In order to be successful in this role, you must be at least Level 3 qualified and have experience supporting primary students.Key Responsibilities:Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of the children.
Take them outside if need be.
Monitor and track the progress of the children, providing regular feedback to the class teacher.
Work collaboratively with other members of the school team to ensure the needs are met.
Attend training and development sessions as required.
What you need to apply for this Year 5 Teaching Assistant role:Experience of working with children in KS2
Excellent behavioural management skills.
Experience working 1:1 with SEN
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children.
Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Amitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
