Supported Housing Officer needed!
Location: Brent, London
Hours: 37.5 Hours a week
Must have an enhanced DBS Issued within the last 12 months (or on the update service)
Pay: Negotiable
Contract - Ongoing
Job Summary:
Conduct Personal Housing Plans and Risk assessments
Support clients in achieving their housing goals
Assist clients with housing, support needs, and independent living
Provide advice on tenancy management and report repairs
Maintain regular client contact to implement housing plans
Offer budgeting, income maximisation, and debt management support
Collaborate with agencies to promote health and well-being
Refer clients to specialist organisations as needed
Liaise with partners during tenancy breakdowns
Attend multi-agency meetings to advocate for clients
Perform regular visits and provide monthly statistics
Experience Required:
Minimum two years in support work or similar setting
Ability to build nonjudgmental relationships with vulnerable clients
Experience with homelessness and mental health issues
Strong communication skills with clients and peers
Independent work ethic with time management skills
Positive liaison with other agencies
