A support worker is needed for a special educational needs (SEN) college in North London.
As a support worker, you will support post-16 students who need extra support than mainstream colleges.
This school is easily accessible from around London, with great transport links.

Willingness to do personal care is preferred.
Your responsibilities as a support worker may include:
Working with and supporting students with ASD.
Providing academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group.
Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support when needed.
Implementing positive behaviour management strategies which may include physical restraints, to maintain a safe learning environment.
Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus and self-control.
Assisting teachers with alternative teaching methods, such Lego therapy to encourage joint working and communication skills, or intensive interaction sessions to help pupils develop attention and interaction skills.
Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
To be a support worker, you will need:
The right to work in the UK.
A clear and up-to-date DBS
Experience working as a Teacher in a UK school.
A patient and 'can-do' attitude
