There will be a rolling weekly one in four rota with four components:
Days off in lieu will follow a weekends or bank holidays on duty
The successful applicant will be expected to join a rota (one in six with prospective cover) to provide weekend and bank holiday Stroke Unit ward rounds and assessment of high risk TIA referrals. There is participation from an acute medicine and elderly care colleague in this rota.
Programmed activities This is a 10 PA contract based on the recommendations from the BMA . This is split into PAs direct clinical care and supporting PAs.
Direct clinical care on average per week (includes clinical activity, clinically related activity and predictable emergency work). Supporting professional activities PAs on average per week (includes CPD, audit, teaching, appraisal)
