Responsibilities
In conjunction with senior management, develop, evolve and challenge the firms UK strategy.
Manage periodic strategic planning exercises, ensuring appropriate levels of input and engagement.
Develop and manage processes to ensure that appropriate consideration is given to sustainability risks and opportunities in the UK’s strategy and decision-making.
Draw on relevant external perspectives relevant to strategy.
Design, including relevant trends andpetitor developments.
Manage processes to assess the resilience of the forms UK’s strategy to external and internal events and the evolvingpetitive landscape.
Support on themunication of the strategy and associated business plan, taking the lead drafting the business plan and preparing periodic updates to colleagues.
Manage the strategy implementation process, suggesting improvements as needed.
Provide support in driving and implementing new strategies and initiatives as needed, including any special projects.
Advise on, and contribute to, cultural strategies and programmes to ensure organisational culture is aligned to, and supportive of, the agreed strategy.
Prepare regular internal reporting for senior stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ corporate strategy experience within Asset Management.
Degree Educated in a relevant subject.
Strategic thinking and planning.
Data and analytical skills, including tools like SWOT analysis and scenario planning.
Financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting.
Project management and implementation.
Change management, both processes and people-related aspects.
Collaboration and relationship building.
Interest in sustainability / ESG.
Financial services, especially institutional asset management.
Understanding of sustainability-related disclosure regulation ( IFRS S1&S2).
Able to work independently, with limited day to day supervision.
