Job Summary:
· The postholder will lead on developments and transformation in Adult Social Care and the potential insourcing of external services, ensuring they integrate and transition smoothly into the Adult Social Care Service.
· The postholder will lead on and contribute to the Adult Social Care Transformation programme and in particular areas prevention and demand management. In addition they will work with senior leaders in the Council to develop and shape the future of our commissioning service in line with the Council Transformation Programmes for Adult Social Care, Children’s Social Care, Education and Public Health.
· We are looking for someone with a background and experience in Adult Social Care and preferably Children’s Social Care in addition. The successful postholder will have significant experience of commissioning services and also have worked within a transformation and change context..
