PositionSummary: A Specialist CleaningOperative is responsible for providing advanced cleaning servicesin environments that require specialised techniques and procedures.This includes but is not limited to trauma scenes crime sceneshazardous material spills deep cleaning of industrial andcommercial sites highlevel sanitization Flood Cleanups and Fire hitproperties Cleaning. The role demands adherence to stringent safetyprotocols meticulous attention to detail and often the ability tohandle emotionally challenging situations with sensitivity andprofessionalism.

KeyResponsibilities:

1. SpecialistCleaning:
   

• Performcleaning and sanitisation of areas affected by biohazards chemicalsand other hazardousmaterials.
  
• Usespecialized equipment and cleaning agents to decontaminate andrestore environments to a safe and habitablestate.
  
• Conductdeep cleaning services for industrial commercial and publicfacilities.
  

• Evaluatethe extent of contamination and determine the appropriate cleaningmethods andmaterials.
  
• Identifyand mitigate any safety hazards present at theworksite.
  

• Adhereto all health and safety regulations including OSHA standardsensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment(PPE).
  
• Stayinformed about and comply with local state and federal regulationsregarding the handling and disposal of hazardousmaterials.
  

• Safelycollect transport and dispose of biohazardous and chemical wastefollowing regulatoryguidelines.
  
• Ensureproper documentation of waste disposalprocedures.
  

• Maintainaccurate records of cleaning activities including logs photographsandreports.
  
• Providedetailed reports to supervisors and clients outlining the workcompleted and any issuesencountered.
  

• Communicateeffectively and empathetically with clients explaining the cleaningprocess and addressing anyconcerns.
  
• Alwaysmaintain a professional demeanour and respect clientconfidentiality.
  

• Workcollaboratively with other cleaning operatives and supervisors toensure efficient jobcompletion.
  
• Assistin training and mentoring new team members asrequired.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma orequivalent.
  
• Previousexperience in specialist cleaning trauma scene cleaning or arelated fieldpreferred.
  
• Certificationin biohazard cleaning hazardous materials handling or relatedtraining is aplus.
  
• Strongattention to detail and ability to follow detailedinstructions.
  
• Excellentphysical stamina and the ability to work in challenging and diverseenvironments.
  
• FullUK drivingLicense
  
• Abilityto handle sensitive situations with empathy andprofessionalism.
