Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students at the primary/secondary level
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and development
- Assess students' language skills and provide constructive feedback to support their progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching strategies and resources
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance and assessment data
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Spanish or a related field
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to primary or secondary students
- Excellent knowledge of the Spanish language and culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Proficient in using technology in the classroom
- Familiarity with the curriculum and assessment frameworks for Spanish at the primary/secondary level.
