Overview
Are you a skilled spa professional ready to take your career to the high seas? We are seeking talented and experienced Hairdressers, Facialists, Nail Technicians, and Massage Therapists to join the spa team onboard our fabulous new cruise ship. If you have a passion for excellence and a desire to travel the world, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Hairdressers: Provide a range of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, and treatments.
- Facialists: Perform various facial treatments, skin assessments, and personalized skincare consultations.
- Nail Technicians: Offer manicures, pedicures, nail art, and other nail care services.
- Massage Therapists: Deliver a variety of massage techniques, from relaxation to therapeutic treatments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.
- Upsell spa services and retail products to enhance the guest experience and increase onboard revenue (this is an essential part of the role).
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality, professional services.
- Collaborate with the spa team to create a positive and efficient work environment.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in your specialty.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of two years' professional experience in your respective field.
- Relevant certifications and licenses as required.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of upselling services and products.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work well in a multicultural team and adapt to the dynamic cruise ship environment.
Contract Details
- Rolling contracts averaging 6 months' onboard, followed by 2 months' vacation.
- Competitive salary with commission opportunities.
- Shared accommodation (two people per cabin) and meals provided onboard.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
