Your Mission As the SolvencyRisk Manager UK, your mission is twofold - ensuring operationalexcellence while being at the forefront of Risk Managementframework development. Your key responsibilities will include:Contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of ourUK branch's Risk Management framework, including policies, RiskRegister, Risk Appetite, and key risk areas. Shaping the ORSAprocess for our UK branch, including suggesting and preparing riskscenarios Supporting & embedding capital modeling, stress andscenario testing Ensuring capital calculations are appropriate forthe UK entity risk profile Contributing to the smooth running ofrisk management operations within our UK business, ensuring theintegration of risk concepts into daily activities. Contributing tokey decisions, such as strategic planning, capital, and liquidity.Continuously developing and enhancing our UK's risk framework toensure consistency and operational effectiveness. Providing riskmanagement information, risk analysis, and risk training to keygovernance forums within our UK operation. Maintaining risk mappingin relation to the control results of our company Group. Improvingthe tracking of operational incidents and Business ContinuityPlanning (BCP) activities Cultivating an effective workingrelationship with Wakam SA Risk Management function Ensurereporting of Risk Management activities to the group Your ProfileTo excel in this role, you should bring: Actuarial academicbackground. Significant insurance experience in the UK in a similarRisk Management function. Experience in setting regulatory capitalrequirements including working with the Standard Formula. A strongunderstanding of relevant UK regulatory requirements. Experienceworking with local brokers and MGA's is a plus. The ability to workat both strategic and detailed levels, with a hands-on approach toensure operational excellence.
