The base.

We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial center. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The team.

Provides investment advice and fiduciary management services to UK DB pension schemes at a range of sizes, from £10m to £2bn.

What you’ll do:

Support lead consultants in delivering a wide range of investment services, from designing investment strategy, developing solutions in response to changing market conditions, and meeting and building relationships with clients

Draft high-quality client materials in line with required timescales;

Undertake numerical analysis using our in-house strategy development tools;

Contributing towards new business opportunities; and

Help to monitor pension scheme investment strategies

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need:

An understanding of UK DB pension scheme assets and liabilities, including a range of asset classes, and the use of derivatives to manage risk;

An of pension scheme investment strategies

At least a basic knowledge of pension scheme industry trends and topical issues; and

Prior work experience in investment consultancy, asset management or actuarial firms.
 

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help:

Good organisational and internal communication skills. Able to manage multiple competing workstreams and priorities, keeping colleagues updated;

Although not required, at least partial completion of either CFA or actuarial qualifications is desirable; and

Experience of working directly with clients, including presenting.
