Solicitor/Senior Solicitor, Energy & Infrastructure (Oil & Gas) – Aberdeen

A fantastic opportunity is available to join a leading Scottish law firm, which is currently seeking an experienced solicitor to become part of its Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) Team in Aberdeen. This role mainly focuses on the oil and gas sector, with opportunities to work on projects across the broader energy spectrum.

Working in the Oil & Gas section of the team, you will assist with a mix of upstream operator and service sector work. Your key duties will include:

Advising operators on all aspects of upstream operational contracts

Advising on due diligence aspects of M&A transactions

Advising service sector clients and operators on contractual issues related to all types of specialist service sector contracts, including drilling, seismic, and offshore construction

Advising on regulatory matters

The ideal candidate will have between 1 and 4 years of PQE, ideally with previous experience in the energy sector. The team is keen to hear from individuals who are efficient, deadline-oriented, and committed to client service.
