Software Engineer – Wolverhampton – West Midlands £45,000 – £50,000

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2023 they are looking for a Software Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities :
Development of application specific software solutions for integration into systems.
Provide technical review in the prevision of software solutions
Development of code to perform closed loop control, data acquisition, data analysis and hardware control across a variety of hardware platforms
Responsible for the definition, development, integration, validation/verification and release of software solitions in accordance with quality processes
Prepare and release software documentation in support of development process. Active participation at technical reviews with peers and engineers
Support management with strategies for obsolescence management, identification of appropriate software tools and supporting hardware
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering subject – Software, Electronics, Mechatronics
Understanding of development of software solutions for specialised machinery
Experience of creating software solutions using Visual basic, C, C++, C#, Python or embedded systems
Knowledge and experience of digital and analogue electronics

Salary:- £45,000 – £50,000
Hours:- Monday – Friday Days – 37hrs a week – Flexible start time, half day Friday
