You'll be actively involved in various aspects of our products, from backend APIs to frontend static websites, both in the creation of innovative new products and the upkeep of existing ones. Your contributions will be instrumental in maximizing our potential and shaping the way our systems are designed and function.
Our new Software Developer will be tasked with the development and maintenance of a sophisticated and ever-expanding IT environment that caters to the needs of the triathlon community. Your responsibilities will encompass the development of new products, the secure integration and upkeep of existing infrastructure with any external solutions, and providing ongoing support to the British Triathlon team.

In your role, you will:
•Assist the Lead Web Developer in creating an exceptional IT environment that serves both our internal and external customers.
•Be capable of producing high-quality code and constructing reliable and scalable applications.
•Collaborate as part of a diverse team in an Agile/DevOps setting.
•Develop, implement, and maintain secure backend products, including payment systems.
•Aid in the integration and upkeep of third-party APIs within our evolving network.
•Create and maintain secure APIs that meet the Open Data Institute (ODI) standards for sports data integration.
•Monitor existing code, suggest improvements, and provide fixes for identified issues.

As our new Software Developer, you will report to the Lead Web Developer and be a valued and respected member of the Digital Transformation & IT team.
