As a Social Worker, you will report to the Team Leader and play a crucial role in assessing the needs of individuals, providing support and guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and reviews to determine appropriate care and support
Collaborating with individuals, families, and external agencies to develop care plans
Safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being
Providing advice, information, and advocacy to empower individuals to make informed decisions
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration (e.g., HCPC)
Experience in adult social care, preferably within a local authority setting
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach

You will also be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 29 days per annum (plus public holidays) Rising by an additional 5 days after 5 years’ service.
