The Social Media and Marketing Executive will support the marketing team in executing and optimising our social media and marketing strategies. This role involves creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, analysing performance metrics, and assisting with various marketing activities to increase brand awareness and drive growth.

Content Creation and Management:
Develop, schedule, and publish high-quality content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Assist in the creation of visual content using graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).
Write compelling copy for social media posts, emails, web content, and other marketing materials.
Work extensively across the business – both in the UK and North America - to gather content as well as attending Content Council meetings.
Be prepared to get out in the field and gather content. This may involve travelling to / attending live productions and going to site outside of working hours.
Social Media Management:
Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Track social media trends and provide insights to optimise content and engagement strategies.
Assist in growing social media followers and enhancing online community engagement.
Campaign Support:
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including email marketing, trade shows, and promotional events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for content and campaigns.
Analytics and Reporting:
Interpret social media and marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
General Marketing Support:
Assist in maintaining and updating the company website.
Working across the business to develop regular scheduled newsletters for both internal and external stakeholders.
Support the marketing team with administrative tasks, such as managing marketing calendars and coordinating events.
Essential skills / experience:
Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
Proficiency with social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Sprout, ).
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Video editing skills.
Full and clean driving licence.
Other Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Ability to travel throughout the UK including overnight stays from time to time
Level of education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Work experience:
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience relevant role.
