The RoleAn exciting opportunity for a School Administrator to join a friendly, hard-working Administration Team. As a SIMS Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our school. Your responsibilities will include:

Running the school office and reception desk

Maintaining and updating the SIMS database

Recording attendance and following up on absences

Meeting and greeting school visitors

Answering the telephone and directing calls accordingly

Responding to emails

Preparing the weekly newsletter

Dealing with admissions queries

Managing the school calendar

Handling general enquiries from students, staff, parents, and members of the public

Ordering stationery

Any other ad hoc admin duties

Skills and AttributesTo be considered for this position, you should have:

Previous school and SIMS experience

Excellent customer service and IT skills

Outstanding written and spoken English

Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment

Flexibility and adaptability

Appreciation of issues of confidentiality

Team player mindset and ability to foster good working relationships

Good telephone manner, email etiquette, and professional image presentation

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

This position requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
