About the role

We are recruiting for a Sheltered Housing Scheme Cleaner for Madams Gardens in Rothwell.

We are looking for a capable person to carry out cleaning duties at the above sheltered housing scheme.

You will be responsible for cleaning the communal internal and external areas of the scheme as directed by a Scheme Manager.

The hours are 3 per week, and there is flexibility around when the 3 hours are worked, to be agreed between the successful candidate and the Scheme Manager. Hours must be worked Monday-Friday when the scheme manager is on site.

What will you be doing?

Your tasks will include:

General cleaning of all communal areas of the Sheltered Scheme as directed by the Scheme Manager including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuuming where necessary.

Cleaning internal window panes in communal areas.

Sweeping external drying & cleaning bin store areas.

About you

You will have experience of cleaning, ideally previous experience of cleaning non-domestic premises or previous experience of cleaning work within a sheltered housing scheme.

You will also have an understanding of the relevant health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
