Position overview
As the public face of the IT Department, the Service Centre provides essential support to various schools within the area. The role provides the opportunity to work within a multi-site situation and develop new skills on the job whilst providing fantastic customer service.
Responsibilities
Manage and assist with school visits and IT service tickets.
Independently resolve tickets and support other engineers.
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge.
Lead by example in key technical areas.
Write high-quality procedures and client communications.
Manage project tickets, including planning, monitoring, and completion.
Act as an escalation point for schools and assist colleagues in troubleshooting.
Candidate requirements
Possess a full clean driving license.
Familiarity with school MIS systems is preferred.
Experience with integrating 3rd party applications with school MIS.
Proficient in using Microsoft Intune for education settings.
Knowledgeable in M and Google Workspace for education.
Skilled in managing Server /, including Group Policy, AD, and DNS.
Experience with Apple School Manager and MDM solutions like Intune, Lightspeed, Meraki, and Apple Configurator is advantageous.
Competent in managing wireless and network systems.
