The Medical Specialties Division is looking to appoint to the role of Divisional Clinical Director.
This opportunity is a 3-year fixed term leadership position, subject to satisfactory annual review.
The time commitment required will be between 3 PAs and 5 PAs, which will be agreed between the successful candidate and the medical director as part of a review of their job plan.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Medical Director, the Divisional Clinical Director will provide strategic and clinical leadership to the Division working in partnership with the Divisional Manager. The post holder will play a central role in two-way communication with those leading and providing the clinical services, with senior Trust management to ensure strategies are aligned and with our key external partners.
The Divisional Clinical Director will lead within the Division and work collaboratively with other Divisions across Medicine Board and the wider Trust to deliver on shared objectives.
