Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced dietitian with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our integrated Diabetes and Nutrition Service (DANS). We are looking for someone with a keen interest in service delivery and development who will work with the DANS leadership team in developing the service to meet our key objectives, one of which is addressing the impact of any health inequalities relating tonutrition and dietetic pathways.
The successful candidate will demonstrate highly effective clinical skills and experience across the clinical pathways with Diabetes experience an advantage. They will provide support and guidance to clinicians working across the BNSSG community in a range of settings such as clinics, and home settings.
The service delivers education, advice and support via a range of pathways including a dedicated advice and guidance service to other health care professionals and in-reach to Sirona Adult Learning Disabilities Health Service. This includes providing clinical expertise underpinned by advanced skills in Clinical Practice, Facilitating Learning, Leadership, and Evidence, Research and Development.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver high quality care within the nutrition and dietetics pathways and provide expert clinical practice, advice to patients, and support to staff. This is delivered in a range of community settings.
This will include providing clinical expertise, underpinned by the advanced skills within their specialty developed in Clinical Practice, Facilitating Learning, Leadership, and Evidence, Research, and Development.
