Role overview
You will manage the delivery from quoting stage through to the final project deliverables, helping ensure that projects run efficiently, to specification and to budget. You’ll be joining a team who are passionate about improving processes and have a creative way of constantly challenging the status quo to find smarter ways of working.
What will I be doing?
As an enthusiastic PM, who thrives on challenging, improving and ensuring seamless deliver you will be responsible for:
Contributing to client briefing meetings and be the trusted point of contact for clients on project-related matters
Preparing project budgets and costings, and advise on assumptions made and ways of working
Creating and managing project plans / schedules, organise the research team and manage inputs into the operational process
Managing operational delivery, from scripting and translation, to fieldwork, data processing and data checking
Taking pride in delivering on time, on budget, and within scope, leading on medium scale projects and contributing to larger accounts
Effectively identifying and pre-empting challenges and problems that might affect the successful execution of a project
Managing the Statement of Work, ensuring delivery to agreed specification
Overseeing the financial performance of projects, tracking and managing external costs, internal time and profitability
Actively seeking new opportunities to develop yourself and continue learning
Sharing project learnings (successes and improvements) across the wider team, celebrate your success.
Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home.
What do I need to bring with me?
Proven quantitative or qualitative research project management experience
We are looking for someone with experience in market research who isn’t afraid to challenge and question current processes to become an invaluable part of our team
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational skills – demonstrate flexibility, with proven ability to prioritise tasks in order to achieve project, team and business requirements
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Be dedicated, taking ownership of tasks and delivering as promised to the best of his or her ability, including being error free
Ability to disseminate complex information.
Confidence with managing budgets and finances
Be a positive thinker with a can do, solution-focused attitude
Good team player
Proficient in using all Microsoft Office applications
Enthusiasm for the role, team and life in general
