Senior Presentations Designer

Salary : £40,000 per annum

Location : Capital House, 85 King William St, London EC4N 7BL

Contract : Permanent, full time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts : Monday through Friday rotating shifts; 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm

Break details : 30-minute lunch, unpaid

Work model : Hybrid (At least three days in office versus two from home)

Purpose of role

The role requires the Senior Presentations Designer to work as part of a team liaising closely with clients to produce presentations materials.

You will have the opportunity to liaise with bankers in a professional, consultative and helpful manner at all times. To own and take responsibility for the work, in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the Bank template and corporate guidelines. You will also work closely alongside the Workflow Coordinator to give updates on workflow, deadlines and issues so that the client’s requirements can be effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To liaise with both internal clients and team members in the preparation of presentations
  • Produce presentations materials using MS PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign
  • Format documents in MS Word and Excel
  • Develop new presentation templates based on different Visual Identities
  • Review existing presentations suggesting and implementing improvements
  • Key Competencies:

  • Excellent understanding of content organisation and hierarchy
  • Highly experienced in infographics and content visualisation
  • Advanced technical knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and a strong background in presentation work
  • Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite would be desirable
  • Good proofing skills - Quality control checks
  • Ability to offer high end creative solutions for page content
  • Understanding of brand guidelines
  • Effective and accurate organisational and administrative skills
  • Possess a good understanding of customer service

  • Strong communication/organisational skills with a polite and confident manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients/colleagues and deal confidently with queries at all levels
