About the role:
You will be working as a Senior Occupational Therapist and will be responsible for;
To continuously assess, evaluate and review objectives and desired outcomes in collaboration with the patient, carers and multidisciplinary team.
To have overall accountability for the planning and management of own specialised caseload of patients
Undertake therapy assessments
Provide therapeutic advice to patients, carers, and clinicians using evidence based practice
To provide planning around discharging patients in the MDT.
To liaise and provide feedback on the patients who have been referred.
Providing training to other healthcare professionals.
About you:
All applicants for the role of Senior Occupational Therapist must meet with following criteria;
BSc (Hons) Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
Current HCPC registration
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of post-graduate professional development
Evidence of CPD
Having experience working with MDT is desirable.
Previous experience working in an Outpatient Setting in OT.
Evidence of decision-making skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Self-motivated & able to motivate others.
